TeddyBear is a young man brimming with humanity. Behind an apparent air of irony—like a veneer of modesty—lies an artist with heightened emotions and vulnerabilities that are never far away. He is only 24, and yet his voice speaks volumes beyond his years. It captures the human soul at its most galvanising, unsettling, melancholic, and even disturbing. Through his deeply insightful lyrics, delivered with infinite tenderness, he recounts our dreams, our regrets, our uncertainties – everything we try to hide, yet which is the very essence of our lives. With his songs, TeddyBear paints portraits of what he observes and hears, often in the first person, speaking directly into our ears. Because he already carries within him a rich and complex story.

Arøne is part of what is known as ‘the next gen’ – a generation of artists who grew up listening (mostly) to rap, pop and electronic music, and who apply this musical eclecticism to their work, without any distinction between genres. The form matters little; what matters to Arøne is that her music strikes a chord with universal emotions. Moved by human relationships – particularly those that fade rather than those that last – she expresses her melancholy and resentment through her writing, to embellish and better overcome her sorrows. Today, she enjoys blending lyrics that are often dark and imbued with a generational melancholy with productions that are, by contrast, highly danceable and catchy.

With percussive, breakbeat-infused rhythms that shift between vibrant moods and darker atmospheres, Hysope explores a wide spectrum of sounds and genres in their sets. Guided by instinct, they refuse to be confined to a single sonic identity and place discovery at the heart of the musical experience. Their sets range from Ghettotech to Jersey, from Breaks to Latin club, always with a desire to surprise, as long as the groove remains alive. Hysope co-founded SIZZLEPROOF alongside Jekkamaï, a collective dedicated to showcasing people of colour in the electronic music scene.
