Over four Thursdays in June and July, Musique d’Ascenseur takes over the Vaux Hall and invites you to immerse yourself in the heart of Brussels’ local music scene, which is as talented as it is eclectic.

Discover a different sound palette every week, and a new opportunity to discover and meet the musicians who shape the city’s vibrant musical landscape. The evening consists of a live concert and a DJ set, all in the open air, in the beautiful 18th-century courtyard of Vaux-Hall. Come and whet your curiosity, let the early summer sun caress your skin, share a refreshing drink with friends and enjoy the hidden sounds that this city’s underground music scene has to offer.

Portrait de Duid
Duid
Duid is the electronic alter ego of Lucien Fraipont, known for his work under the name Robbing Millions. With the sole aim of exploring surprising sonic discoveries, Lucien ventured down more electronic and experimental paths whilst working on Robbing Millions’ third album. These more idiosyncratic tracks ultimately called for a separate album, inspired by artists such as Rei Harakami, Logic System, Scott Gilmore, Weather Report, Sun Araw and Aksak Maboul (with whom Lucien has been performing since 2017).
Portrait de Tioklu
Tioklu
Alternative pop artist Tioklu loves winding mountain roads. His selections are sometimes contemplative, sometimes rhythmic, and oscillate between ambient folk and cheerful dub, between lo-fi pop and unusual gems from the 1980s. Expect bold, narrative-driven mixes!
