Centre Culturel Congolais

Located in the heart of Brussels, the Congolese Cultural Centre is a hub for African cultures, offering an immersive experience that reflects the region’s cultural diversity and the richness of its diaspora.

Located in the iconic former Senne lock, this centre aims to be a space for meeting, exchange, art and history, fostering a better understanding of African cultures. The centre offers a rich and varied programme of exhibitions, film screenings, literary cafés and more, and aims to provide a comprehensive overview of African and Afro-descendant art.

This year, the Congolese Cultural Centre is collaborating with Sound’n Souls, an event dedicated to promoting the creativity of Belgian artists of African descent, with a particular focus on female and non-binary voices. Sound’n Souls is more than just a festival. It is a platform for visibility and creativity for emerging artists who are still too often under-represented in the Belgian cultural scene.
